The Pantone Color Institute has released their Fashion Color Trend Report Spring 2018 and both New York and London agree that the “unexpected color palette encourages opportunity for self-expression with 12 call-out shades”. Ultra Violet is cited as the top color of the year. I’m pleased to showcase original, distinctively designed Suzanne Brown Jewelry in tones of the Pantone Palette in Purple & Blues.
PANTONE 18-3838: Ultra Violet
Conveying originality and ingenuity, the magical Ultra Violet is a distinctive and complex purple shade that fascinates and intrigues.
The vibrant all new Pantone Palace Blue is reflected in both the Ocean Blue pendant and the Azure Earring Drops.
PANTONE 18-4043: Palace Blue
Palace Blue sparkles with energy. Stirring and impressive, a brighter blue for the days ahead.
The classy and classic core color of Pantone Blue pops in a stone of Azurite and Lapis with clouds of gold pyrite near a lemon colored sapphire accent.
PANTONE 19-4034: Sailor Blue
The classic navy like Sailor Blue anchors the palette.
I buy only one of any given stone and set each in harmony with their natural shape. For example, each stone and each setting in a pair of earrings is comparatively different yet each is complimentary to the other.

MORE about the Spring 2018 NYFW Color Palette: “As consumers continue to embrace color, designers are recognizing the need to show more color in their collections.” says Leatrice Eiseman, Executive Director of the Pantone Color Institute. “The color palette showcases an appreciation for the complexity and distinctiveness of color and the expression of it, which is something that evolves and can be played with,” said Eiseman. “Consumers need more variety, and this expanded palette embraces the lack of gender and seasonal borders we are seeing within the fashion industry.”
