Motif patterned bracelets of 925 sterling silver – hinged for a perfect fit in repoussé style – the technique of hammering and pressing designs in relief. All pieces are hand-stamped with the SBJ logo.
“Reticulated Sterling Silver Cuff”
Often referred to as the Black Art of Metalsmithing, the technique of reticulation is an organic process, with no two pieces turning out the same. Sterling silver is an alloy of silver (92.5%) and copper (7.5%) and reticulation silver is usually 80% silver and 20% copper. Torched with a hot/hot flame, the copper in reticulated silver melts to create a liquid within a silver overlay. The motion and angle of the flame creates unmatchable distinctive textures and unique patterns.
“Check It Out”
A single square tugtupite stone is surrounded by a 22k gold bezel and set on point above a black raw and polished onyx druzy – readily recognized as a check mark and certainly an uncommon design. As accent, the pink topaz surrounded by a 22k gold bezel and almost serves as an exclamation point! The awesome & appreciation factor of this pendant rates as off the geological charts!
