Be sure to make time to visit me during the upcoming Celebration of Fine Art! On January 16, I will unveil my new Confetti Collection. Accents of pure gold highlight jewelry of 20K Argentium silver. I melt a combination of this silver and 20K gold in a crucible, run it through a rolling mill to make a textured metal sheet and hand cut my designs. In this collection I often use a black patina as the finishing touch. I am excited for you to visit me in booth #245, try them on and treat yourself by adding to or beginning your personal collection my fine art jewelry.
As my treat to you…click here for a 2 for 1 entry coupon (good for a one-time entry during the 10 week run of the exhibition) or scroll to mid-page at http://celebrateart.com/the-event.
Here’s a special preview of several pieces from my new Confetti Collection.
Suzanne’s Specifics:
Argentium Silver: produced using only recycled silver and purer than traditional sterling silver, Argentium is known for its hardness and durability making it more resistant to scratching or denting. In its softened state, it is easily manipulated making it an ideal medium to create various shapes and settings for jewelry.
Crucible: a ceramic or metal container used to melt metals or other substances.
Rolling Mill: a machine designed to produce thinner gauges of sheet metal and wire; this process also adds texture. http://gossdesignstudio.com/sandranoblegoss/roller.html
